She's rude!

This week's challenge at Make it Colourful is to colour sheer clothing...I think I went overboard!!!!!!  She should have something more substantial on under that blouse! LOL!

I've used some Websters paper, my new wreath die from Memory box ( LOVE it!!!!) , chipboard butterflies from MIC and some pearls to finish.

From this challenge onwards, Make it Colourful challenges will be fortnightly....gives you more chance to play with techniques and join in the challenges! Yay!  And once a month there will be a special challenge also.

I'm entering this card in Scrap Creations - Its a girl thing

Animals and Monsters

This weeks challenge at Little Miss Muffet is to use an animal or a monster on your project.   I've used the adorable Adela & Dida ...why...cos it has a cute puppy of course! LOL!
The gorgeous stitched paper is a sheet of Prima  which I chopped up after much gnashing of teeth and I love it!
Check out the cool signature Barbara designed for me, she has made one for all of the Dt members. Thank you Barbara!

More new releases!

Barbara has been busy again this week and has 4 new images for this release from Little Miss Muffet.  I've only had time to make one card but I'm happy with this one, it just came together easily. I've made an easel card, with some yummy papers from memory Box.

The big white flower I made from crinoline ( from The Funkie Junkie Etsy shop)  cut with sizzix dies and scrunched up and held together with a fab brad from SU.
I've used the gorgeous Megan from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and put her on a bench from MIC and the tree is also from MIC.

Now pop on over to the challenge blog to see what the others have done with these gorgeous new images.

Anything goes!!

Woohoo!  How easy is that! Anything goes, you choose.
Southern Girls Challenge this week is being sponsored by Robyn's Fetish and Paper Pretties.   I saw this cute christmas mouse called Swisserland, at Paper Pretties and decided to get started on my christmas cards. OK, I know some people have done heaps already , I'm a bit slow as always......

Anyway, I had this yummy paper from Websters Pages so it was no hard decision what to use, I love thses colours. The xmas tree is a Marianne Die, the snowflakes are lasercut chipboard from MIC covered with frosted lace stickles. The sentiment is from Catslife Press.
Right now go check out the gorgeous cards and layouts from my teamies and why not join in our challenge!

Scared?

Its time for the Make it Colourful challenge again and this week we want you to use orange and black. Well, with all the spooky backgrounds and gorgeous halloween characters Zoe has released recently this was an easy scene to create!
I've used this soooo cute Mini Dracula and put him into the Spooky Graveyard . The card is pretty simple, just some scary branches and black mesh and a couple of bats I cut out and popped up.
If you want to see the rest of the DT projects, head on over to the gallery .

Now I am three!

Yep, its was my birthday yesterday and I am 3 years old, only 2 more years and mum says I can go to school! Had a fun day, played with Solomon, ate a yummy tea with my very own icecream to finish with!  Yum!

Winged Things

This week at Little Miss Muffet Challenges, we want to see your winged things!   I've used the sweet Butterfly Kisses and seated her on the Whimsical Log background from MIC.   The paper is Prima. I didn't want to cover too much of the paper, I love it!
Now check out the gorgeousness created by my teamies over at the challenge blog.

I was late finishing this, and I hate being late, but I've been cuddling my wee boy Vinnie. He is now officially a gummi bear! No teeth!! At all!  None!    Hopefully removing them all will stop the continual infections in his jaw and prevent heart problems later on. Poor baby........ he's got a very sore mouth at the moment......
 dissapointed smiley

Its a Man/Boy thing!

I've been having a tidy up in my craft room today and finding all sorts of stuff I'd forgotten I had.....hehehehe! Now I can go and make another mess and lose stuff again. Ahhh bliss!

For once I am entering a card in a challenge and its not a DT card!   I was asked to make 6 boy cards.....great...don't we all love them!   This was one that I was happy with, using a Mo Manning image.

I'm entering this in Praire Fairy Fridays - Snips & snails
and Totally Gorjuss- Its a man thing

Birthday pressie

Its not his birthday till next month but would he wait? Oh no!  This is the other half's pressie, which I saw in a shop in Palmerston North last month.  Thought it was pretty cool myself, so had to buy it of course! Most of the VW stuff ends up in the man cave but this can stay inside ......

Colour with Purple

Hi ya everyone! Its another Make it Colourful challenge tonight and we want you to colour with purple. And for those of you who haven't heard, the challenges are now being posted in the Make it Crafty Gallery, to make it easier us to check out your gorgeous entries.
Once again I dug out my BG Wisteria paper and tried to match my purples to those on the paper. And her hair had to be that shade to blend her in completely! LOL!
The girl is Bloom Mae from Some Odd Girl who are sponsoring this challenge.  I've used MIC Peaches of Plenty and Daffodil dell   The chipboard leaves and butterfly are also from Make it Crafty and they are just perfect for finishing off a card.   The sentiments are from Whimsy.

Blog Hop Birthday Celebration!

Can you believe we are a year old?, and what a fantastic year it has been with the support from all our wonderful sponsors, and to be on the best Design Team anyone could wish for. In celebration of this, we have an amazing bloghop with some of our fantastic regular sponsors giving away fabulous prizes. You should have arrived from the lovely Bettina  if not, head back to Southern Girls  where there is  a full blog hop list.

I have used a sentiment and  two  digital images from Make it Crafty,  called Alvida the Pirate  and Treasure Chest .  Also the gorgeous lasercut chipboard pieces I have added ( covered in Viva pearl pen)  are from Make it Crafty . The lovely Zoe  is giving away a $15 store voucher to one lucky lady who 1) - comments on my blog and 2) - enters the challenge at Southern Girls.

So, to recap.... the rules are simple, make sure you make a card and enter on Southern Girls Challenges, also leave me a comment, and on the 20th of September I will draw a random name, that will be a winner of the sponsor that I am showcasing.
Now head on over to  Nik,    have fun......

No Lines?

No black lines is the the challenge this week at Make it Colourful and this is the first time I've tried it, though the facebook group have been playing around with this technique for a few weeks.  I used a light ink to stamp Tilda, (London Fog Memento) , stamped off on paper first to remove some of the colour , then stamped on card.  The Mushroom background was altered in photoshop by reducing the transparency to about 20%.    Difficult to colour?  Certainly more challenging and you do need to think about it a lot more, we really rely on those lines. It helps to have a copy of the image in full strength to follow when you get lost! LOL!

The background is Whimsical mushroom from MIC and the chippie dragonflies are  also MIC and I love these beasties for embellishing , they seem to go with so many things.
The paper is BG Wisteria  and cardstock is SU river rock .

If you aren't aware, Make it Crafty has a new gallery HERE for entering the challenges so we can see the cards and leave comments easier.

Purples, Blues and Greens!

This week over at Little Miss Muffet we want you to show us your purples, blues and greens!  I had to use my new cheery lynn butterfly dies just cos they're so pretty! LOL!
I've used the adorable agent cupcake from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and another background from MIC.

The paper is Kaisercraft Lilac Avenue, cardstock is SU and the swirly corner is a cuttlebug die.

And yes, my guest DT spot is over, but the lovely Barbara asked me if I would like to stay on and play some more so of course I said YES!!!!  so it looks like you're stuck with me for a while now ! Hehehehe!

Buttons!

Hi everyone!  Time for a new challenge at the Emerald faerie  garden and this fortnight  we want you to use buttons
I've used Ashee cos he's so cute and thrown him onto some BG wisteria paper that I've  painted with gesso. The chipboard from MIC has been painted with gesso also.  The buttons are from my stash .

now off you go and create
