Tissue boxes everywhere , glue, paper, flowers, ribbon, lace etc ... everyone was very busy last night in our class/workshop.  So cool to see all the different ideas. Well done ladies!
Tissue boxes are Mel's, Sharons, Sally's and Marie's. The page is Tash's.  Pop over to Trace's blog for the others .
Sally & Tash  also did a scrapbook page each, using Prima Paintables paper and distress inks in mini-misters. I got to mix the colours for them , a drop of this, two drops of that...need a recipe book to remember them!LOL!

Class cards

Was my turn to make some cards for our class next month. Instructions were to try to keep it simple, not too fussy, and use my new Manga Xmas stamps. Simple?!! How?!! I don't do simple.  This is as simple as I get ! LOL!  Have used BG Wassail paper...mmmmm!   Had to colour with SU crayons and blender pens , hard after using my lovely copics all the time.
We're off to class tonight where our lovely ladies will be covering tissue boxes and doing Prima Paintable scrapbook pages. Hope to have some pics for tomorrow.

Doodle Palace are giving away blog candy and there are several ways to get entries, including doing my sketch challenge !Go on, give it a go, don't be shy!

My Sketch

My turn this week to do a sketch for the Doodle Palace challenge. This is my card using one of their cute puppy images. I'm a sucker for puppies! You don't need one of their images to enter, so check out the challenge and give it a go. The winner gets two free digi images.
The papers I've used are BG lemonade. Card, sentiment  and ribbon are SU.

Pink & Brown

Having trouble uploading pics today...must be punishment for me driving the car to Trace's last night without unplugging the battery charger! Thought Gav was gonna kill me but he got over it! LOL!  We have a beautiful warm spring day here and the washing is all on the line, there are blossom petals everywhere , and the dogs are lounging around in the sun.

The challenge this fortnight at The Sugar Bowl is a sketch by Marlene, with the colours pink & brown.   Love the manga kids so had to use one, and the prima flowers , well, what can I say, but they are gorgeous! Papers are K & Co.

Xmas already?

Can't believe Christmas is creeping up again, where is time disappearing to? This image is a Doodle Palace Xmas elf, they are releasing new digital images each week, go check them out!
Our tickets to the Fleetwood Mac december concert arrived today...can't wait. Gav's brother and his wife Di are coming from Tauranga that weekend , I think I might need to get in a bit of training with the wine consumption before then!

Trace's challenge

Tracy set the challenge for this week on Doodle Palace and it is to use Orange & Green. They actually seem to be my fav colours at the moment, tho I never thought I'd say so. I have packets of these tiny seed beads and spent ages threading these onto some wire. Good thing my close vision is pretty good! I still ended up with beads flying all over the place. LOL! The image is one Tracy gave me .
Have just been spending more money, the new xmas Manga stamps are online at Funky kits! Yay, at last! Can't wait for them to arrive!

This is my first card for the CT card swap, thank you cards this time. The image is a Dustin Pike Digi image which I've paper pieced. The papers are Cosmo Cricket..
Have just been down the beach with the dogs, we even let Riley off lead !. He was so funny, running fast and screeching to a halt and face planting in the sand!  Poor Abbie just wanted to swim but she's getting pretty weak in her back end now, so she had a few dunks in the water and toddled slowly along .

Cool sketch

Donna has done a great sketch for Stampin for the Weekend and this is my attempt. Much more my style with lots of layers! The papers are mainly Websters Pages that I bought yesterday. I sprayed the flowers with distress ink and perfect pearls. The image is one of Denise's Anyas. Colours don't look quite right in this photo, looks better IRL!
Its been a perfect spring day here and we've been out in the garden, in shorts and T shirts. Off to bed with a book now,  bliss!!

Too hard

Went to see the puppies when they were born on Tuesday, 4 black ( will be silver) and 1 cream. ALL BOYS!!!  Gemma is a wonderful mum, she is looking after them all well and the biggest one is a real buddha already.
Went to New Plymouth with Trace this morning, and we were very restrained in our buying, tho  I did get some yummy new Websters Pages.
This weeks challenge at Doodle Palace is to use ONE piece of designer paper, 1 ribbon, and 1 Digi image. Too Hard!  I DONT DO ONES!!! Anyway, here is my attempt, chose some very busy paper to make up for lack of layers. LOL! The image is a Doodle Palace image , Rain Bear.

No Ginga

This week's release from Doodle Palace  included some very cute doggie firefighters, so had to have a play with those. Here is the card I did for their blog using mainly SU paper, ribbon, and cardstock. I have used crystal effects for the water .
And talking about cute doggies, Gemma has had 5 puppies and none of them are remotely ginga so we don't think Riley dearest is the daddy! . Looks like wee Alby got in there instead!  Poor Ginganut.... still he had fun trying.

Something different

This is almost the complete opposite of the last card, but I had the BG papers , never been used, and Cheddar was totally uninked so what else could I do for the Sugar Bowl challenge? It was a sketch, with buttons this time.
Fatty has gone home and still no puppies.... probably  best she didn't give birth on my bed! LOL!
And Trace, how dare you mention that my craft room is untidy! Its not untidy...its a bombsite at the moment!!  and no I can't find anything I want, I make do with what I can lay my hands on! LOL! Doesn't help that I have a dog crate in there and boxes of dog toys etc.

Beautiful Sunday

Wow! Its so nice outside, I don't want to be in here at all, but there is work to do and cards to here I am. My camera is home! Yay! Makes such a difference.
We have Fatty Poingdestre staying at the mo, her mum is away and as she could drop these puppies any day now, we thought she should have some one-on-one attention. So I'm still on midwife alert.  Even had her sleeping on the bed with us so I could keep a close eye on her! Poor VERY FAT girl!
This is my card for Stampin for the Weekend... theme colours of orange, teal and pink. OMG this is a bright 'un!  Image is one of Denise's new Anya purchases . Ta Denise ( aka laptop killer!)  These bead things arrived in a scrapbook pack ages ago and I really didn't know what to do with them!  Brainstorm... made copper wire stems and they are perfect colours for this challenge. Paper is a mixture of BG, K&Co and Bearly Mine , and SU cardstock.

Doodle Palace

Our  cards for Doodle Palace Fall release have gone up on their blog this week so we can share our creations.  As we don't celebrate Thanksgiving, the halloween image it had to be!  And being a doggie made it even more me! Have used BG marrakech papers for this card, I love the colours in these. Hopefully my camera is coming home today so my photos will be better, the colour just isn't right in this.
